How to Install IPTV on a Firestick in 5 Minutes

Installing IPTV on your Firestick
Follow these five steps in order. Total time: about five minutes.
Allow apps from unknown sources
Your Firestick blocks outside apps by default, so this switch has to go on first. Go to Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options and turn on Install Unknown Apps (you'll enable it for Downloader in step 2).
Install the Downloader app
From the Firestick home screen, use the search icon and type Downloader. It's the orange one, and it's free from the Amazon Appstore. Install it, then go back to Developer Options → Install Unknown Apps and switch Downloader to ON.
Download IPTV Smarters Pro
Open Downloader, click the URL box, and enter the download link for IPTV Smarters Pro (we'll send you the current one on WhatsApp — it changes from time to time). Click Go, wait for the download, then click Install.
Sign in with your details
Open IPTV Smarters Pro and accept the terms. Choose Login with Xtream Codes API and enter the username, password and server URL we send you. If you were given an M3U link instead, choose Load Your Playlist or File and paste it in.
Start watching
Give it a moment to pull in the channels, VOD and TV guide — the first load takes longest. Then open Live TV and you're away: Sky Sports, TNT Sports and everything else, in up to 4K.

Best Firestick for IPTV
Any Firestick works — but they're not equal, especially for 4K sport.
The cheapest option. Fine for HD, but it caps at 1080p — no 4K. Good if you're on an older TV.
Fastest processor, most memory and Wi-Fi 6. Handles 4K sport without breaking a sweat — worth the extra few quid.
The sweet spot on price. Proper 4K, plenty quick for IPTV. A great all-rounder if the Max is out of budget.
For 4K streaming you'll want at least 50 Mbps and, ideally, 5 GHz Wi-Fi.
Firestick problems, solved
Nearly every issue is one of these five.
IPTV keeps buffering on my Firestick
It's almost always the connection or the storage.
Switch to 5 GHz Wi-Fi (or better, use an Ethernet adapter), move the router closer, and close anything running in the background. Then clear the app cache in Settings → Applications → Manage Installed Applications. Firesticks have very little storage, and a full one buffers.
I can't find Developer Options
It's hidden on newer Fire OS versions.
Go to Settings → My Fire TV → About, highlight your device name, and click it seven times. Go back and Developer Options will now be in the My Fire TV menu.
The app says "invalid credentials"
Check the details, then check the expiry.
Username, password and server URL all have to match exactly — watch for capital letters and stray spaces. If they're right, your subscription may simply have run out. Message us and we'll check it in a minute.
Black screen when I open a channel
Try a different player.
In the app settings, switch the player to VLC or MX Player. If only one channel is black and the rest work, it's that channel — not your setup.
My Firestick is running slowly
Usually storage or heat.
Uninstall apps you don't use, clear caches, and restart it (Settings → My Fire TV → Restart). If it's tucked behind the TV and getting hot, use the HDMI extender that came in the box to give it some air.
